How are colleges handling sexual assault?

I stumbled across a very interesting article and report via Feministing.com last night.  The article talks about how some university and college campuses handle rape and assault cases.  It’s quite upsetting and depressing.  You can read the report in its entirety here.

This link dump of a post is not all doom and gloom.  The Feministing piece also discusses a new Campus Accountability initiative being started by National V-Day and SAFER.  You can check that out here.  The project could be a great resource or tool for students working to end rape and assault on their campus and also provide support and guidance for people taking on such an endeavor.

While such an iniative is more intervention focused, it could perhaps be used to inform prevention efforts and help create buy-in for more prevention programming on campuses.
