Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community

idvaacI was on a webinar with IDVAAC last week.  They hosted a great discussion called “The Intersection of Spirituality, Religion, and Intimate Partner Violence in the African American Community,” (transcript & audio of which I believe will be up soon).  I just wanted to highlight the amazing work they’re doing–especially their Community Insights project.  They’re also starting a project on Teen Dating Violence soon, so stay tuned!

New Prevention Tool

SPF ImageThe Community Toolbox has information about a new prevention resource, the Strategic Prevention Framework.  This looks like a valuable tool for communities doing a variety of different kinds of prevention.

Red Flag Campaign
